Detailed description
The K-Star K-5 is a 5 kW electric water heater designed and manufactured in Canada by Consolidated Pool & Spa Industries. Ideal for extending your swimming season from spring to fall, it efficiently heats above-ground pools, small in-ground pools, and residential spas up to 40,000 liters.
Equipped with an Incoloy stainless steel heating element, the K-5 is specifically designed for non-salt water applications. For salt pools, the K-5-TT model with a titanium element is required to prevent corrosion. Its mechanical thermostat offers simple and reliable control, maintaining a constant temperature up to 40 °C.
The impact-resistant PVC tank, copper grounding lugs, and manual high-limit reset ensure safe and durable use. The drain plug allows for simple winterization to protect the appliance during the cold season.
Important: The K-5 operates on a 240 V single-phase (21 amps) power supply. It must be wired directly by a licensed electrician – no standard power outlet. Plan for electrical installation costs in your budget.
